WHERE WERE YOU?

       Were you having lunch with us at Taverna Ouzo in Monroe Township on December 11, 2014?  Were you among the several dozen congenial diners enjoying the First Annual International Luncheon of the CSANJ Retiree Unit?

 

        If not, why not?

 

        This luncheon was a delightfully festive pre-holiday event, replite with laughter, conversation and delicious Greek food.  Former friendships were rekindled, new friendships were formed, and cheer and good spirits were on everyone's agenda.

 

        The sumptuous menu included hot and cold appetizers, salad, soup, entree, dessert, soda, coffee, tea and wine.

 

        Here are some random comments overheard during the course of the afternoon:

           "What a delightful way to spend a snowy afternoon-- pleasant company and wonderful food!" (Meridith Carter)

           "Having a great time!  Delicious food and fantastic company!" (Bob Epstein)

           "This was a fun afternoon.  I hope we do it again!" (Sandra Poris)

 

        Kudos for this wonderful event go to Fran Capuana, who deserves applause and recognition for her outstanding efforts in overseeing the luncheon from start to finish.

 

        The Board hopes that this will be the first of many International Luncheons.  Plans are already in the works for the next event so stay tuned for further information.

 

        And try to make it next time!
